 Gearing Up for AWQA Day 2012! Your test kit has arrived in the mail and you are eager to get out there and start exploring the water quality in your watershed! What should you do next? Here are some valuable tips to help ensure your AWQA Day testing runs as safely and fluidly as possible. 1. Choose one or more streams, lakes, rivers, wetlands, reservoirs or other surface waterbodies to collect samples and test the water quality from. 2. Read through the safety information provided in your test kit. Get outside and have fun testing the waterbody(ies) of your choice. AWQA Day testing can be done anytime between May 1st and August 31st! Quick Tip: Remember to record the location and water quality results for each of your sampling sites.
